Customer

Individuals & Organisations

Customers in Flow are categorized as either a legal entity (Organisation) or an individual. Creating an Organisation necessitates the creation of an individual as well, who will be designated as the Main Contact for the organisation.

Main Contact & Individuals

  • Every customer must have at least one main contact.
  • The main contact's details will be recorded on the agreement billing.
  • While a customer can have multiple individuals associated with it, these serve purely for documentation purposes.
  • The main contact can be replaced by another individual by editing the selected individual's details to set the main contact checkbox to true and then saving. This change demotes the current main contact to an individual, while the selected individual becomes the new main contact.

Agreements & Customers

Creating an agreement requires an address but not necessarily a customer. However, if a customer is linked during the creation of an agreement, the agreement will be associated with both the customer and the address.

Addresses & Customers

There is a functionality to link addresses and customers to each other, accessible from the Addresses section in the customer view or the Customers section in the address view. Users have the option to either create a new address or link an existing one. Addresses can be categorized as Delivery, Contact, and/or Billing addresses.

Services

In Flow, services can be deployed directly on certain objects, including Customers, without the need for Agreements. This action creates a service instance that is exclusively linked to the Customer.
