Glossary

This glossary serves as a comprehensive guide to the terminology used within our system. Understanding these terms is crucial for effectively navigating and utilizing the system's features. The glossary aims to clarify key concepts and components, making it easier for users to grasp the functionality and operational procedures of the system.

A dropdown lets you select a value from a predetermined list of options. In some cases (e.g., Labels), you will be allowed to create new options. In this case, it will be displayed as "Create option 'Your option'" when typing.

Fields

A field represents a free text input for an object. If special constraints apply to the field, it will be marked with an exclamation mark on the right of the field.

Entity

An entity is an object in the system, a collection of data and information that amounts to something bigger, for example, a specific address or a customer.

Method

A custom piece of code created in the method editor that allows for logic or extended functionality to be executed on an entity.

Namespace

A namespace is a reference to where an object is located in the system, an address of sorts, for the entity.

Object

See Entity. The only difference is that this can be nonspecific.

View

A view simply refers to one of the pages that you see in the menu to the left or any of the pages that you open to perform actions, such as editing or creating.
